We’re excited to share with you how working with Mustangs has changed and informed the way we read, interact with and show up for all horses, wild and domestic.
If you are interested in improving the relationship with your horse, be more present, mindful and in tune with your equine partner, this clinic is for you. We look forward to helping you build a stronger connection where your horse learns to look to you for guidance and you are aware of your horse’s needs.
What to expect:
You will be asked to provide information on what you would like to work on prior to the clinic.
We will do a morning check-in as a group and go over the plan for the day. Then each participant will receive one-on-one guidance, one at a time, according to the goals they have identified for the clinic. We will debrief as a group at the end of the day.
Participants will bring their own horses. Horses need to be at least halter broke and able to load and unload. Pens not provided for one day clinics, please plan accordingly (you’re welcome to set up panels, tie to your trailer or keep your horse in the trailer while not in session).
There will be ample time to ask questions. Clinic participants are welcome to stay in touch so you’re not alone if follow up questions arise or you would like to come back (or stay for a Horsemanship Intensive) for more learning.
When: Our Horsemanship Intensives and Mustang Gentling Workshops as well as auditing opportunities are available weather and schedule permitting year-round.
Clinic hours: 9am to 4pm w/ lunch break (please bring your lunch).
What to bring: Chair, plenty of water, lunch, sunscreen, hat, layers for our temperamental Colorado weather, gloves and closed toe shoes w/ good traction.
Housing: Off-site accommodations available, camping ok; we’re happy to discuss options. No dogs.
Cost: $175/day for participants (limited to 6). $50/day for auditors.
