Apollo is a 7yo Pine Nut Mountains NV Mustang gelding we gentled and placed through Wild Horse Outreach & Advocacy in early 2024. Apollo stands 14.2hh tall and is stout.
Apollo is well started under saddle, honest and sane. He may not yet have “been there, done that” all but both his owner and his trainer have made sure that he’s in a place mentally, emotionally and physically where he’s able to “be there, do that” and be sensible about life.
He’s been ridden walk, trot, lope both English and Western, in and outside of the arena.
We would like to find him an individual or family willing to build a relationship with him while continuing to advance his education under saddle.
Apollo has had a slow and methodical start with the intention of training him to upper level dressage. He is sensitive and cautious without being reactive and a good boy who appreciates being given time to understand and process what’s being asked.
He is good with other horses, good to handle and respectful under saddle. He leads, loads, ties, stands for the farrier, stands to be sprayed, crosses obstacles and loads and trailers well. No buck, bite, bolt or rear.

His owner is moving out of the country for work and taking Apollo along is unfortunately not an option.
Apollo is located in Medford, OR. He is SA and can travel. We can help arrange hauling if desired.
