I used to admire people who did what I wanted to do.
I still do because it keeps me looking for ways to improve and have something to work towards.
I also now look for ways to make happen what I care about. Yes, that means sacrificing other things and experiencing discomfort.
It sure beats watching life pass me by and envying others’ experiences and skills.
Making time for and being brave enough to do what you really want to do is a sign of growth.
So is being willing to be “bad” at something to eventually get better and maybe finally even be “good” at it.
I hope you enjoy this little video of yesterday’s sunrise ride with the Wild Horse Outreach & Advocacy Ambassador Mustangs and the happy German Shepherds. Yes it was cold. And totally worth it.
I’d love to hear about what you’ve made time for/made an effort to learn, even against the odds, and are proud of. Please share in the comments
I have all sorts of neat tack but I can get most anything done in just a Rowdy’s Ropes halter and lead and the wildies look just as beautiful as they do without any or in fancy gear.
