“The moment I saw Levi (Napoleon) on WHOA’s Facebook page, I knew I “had to have him”. Sounds cliche… but I shot Stefanie a message to find out more about him and how the BLM adoption process worked. Stefanie made sure to ask plenty of questions to ensure we could be a potential match. Which I appreciated because the right pairing of horse/adopter can make all the difference with a successful outcome. After our discussion, she Stefanie had me come meet Levi and work with him. I was madly in love with this confident little pony with a sassy attitude who seemed to have a personality not far off from my own. I went back multiple times to work with Levi and soak up any skills and education Stefanie was willing to share with me. After bringing Levi home, we made lots of progress not only with training, but forming a bond like no other. Levi has helped me learn how to trust again, be more patient, and he has become the best mountain pony I could ever ask for. Watching Stefanie gently working with these beautiful animals was nothing short of amazing.  After telling my husband about the program, we knew we had to adopt. After going back out, Stefanie knew what we were looking for and our skill level and matched us with not one but two beautiful mustang mares, Lily and Maybelline.
